The concept was really interesting, but I found some chapters to be a bit slow. Once you get past the slower parts, it picks up nicely. If you like deep narratives, give it a shot!

A beautiful blend of medicine and mystery
What a fantastic combination of a medical drama and a mystery! The author's writing style is easy to digest, and I love how the surgical aspects were woven into the storyline. Highly recommend it for those who enjoy medical fiction!

Not what I expected
I was excited to read this but ended up disappointed. The pacing was all over, and some characters felt flat. I had hoped for a more gripping narrative around the surgical aspects. It wasn't terrible, but not great either.

Engaging and thought-provoking
I really enjoyed 'The Surgeon's Daughter'. It made me think about the moral implications of surgical decisions. The plot twists were clever, and I didn't see some of them coming! I would definitely recommend it to my book club.

Intriguing plot and character depth
I found 'The Surgeon's Daughter' to be a thrilling ride! The character development was rich, and the plot kept me turning pages late into the night. If you enjoy novels with complex relationships and ethical dilemmas, this one’s a must-read.
