When Prince Krishna is called away, he leaves behind some strict instructions for the Hall children about one of the openings in the mysterious summerhouse: Keep Out! As Eddy and Eleanor swing through each of the other openings, they refuse to break the rule, even as their temptation grows. But when Oliver and little Georgie disappear through the forbidden archway, Eleanor and Eddy know that they must either break their promise or risk never seeing their friends again.

I enjoyed parts of 'The Swing in the Summerhouse' but had some issues with pacing. At times, it felt drawn out, and I wished for more action. Still, the characters are relatable, and the setting is delightful.

A lovely continuation of the story!
I really enjoyed this second book in the Hall Family Chronicles. The characters are well-developed, and the summerhouse setting adds a charming touch. Can't wait to see where the story goes next!

Not what I expected
I was a bit disappointed with this one. Some of the plot twists felt forced, and it didn't capture my attention like the first book did. It’s okay, but I expected more. Maybe it picks up later?
