There is a beautiful beginning paragraph that begins on the dust jacket inside flap. I think that it is a nice description. It "Rosalio Moises believed that for everyone there is a candle burning in heaven and one lives until one's candle burns down. His candle was tall, and during his considerable lifetime, he epitomized in many ways the tenacity and dedication as well as the flexibility that have enabled his tribe to survive decades of systematic persecution and attemtpts to remove them from their fertile native lands." This book is a very interesting read.
