Jenkins book, The Ten Tribes of Israel was originally published in 1883, and is one mans collective work showing the cultural similarities, written records, oral history and language traits which have 'Hebraism' connections. The most obvious of all the anomalies are the geometric works and hill forts that are very numerous in the state of Ohio.About the AuthorAn Ohioan born in 1821, Timothy R. Jenkins was the prolific author of mostly biblical interpretations of history, one of which resulted in his arrest on charges of 'blasphemy'. He died in his 63rd year while traveling to Cleveland for the publication of what would prove to be his last book, The Ten Tribes of Israel.
