I picked up 'The Thirty-Nine Steps' for my book club and it was a hit! The Penguin Classics edition is really nice, with clear print and a great cover design. It's amazing how gripping the story is even after all these years. Perfect for anyone who loves a good thriller!

Interesting but a bit slow at times
I just finished reading 'The Thirty-Nine Steps' and it was good, but there were parts that dragged on. I love classic literature, so I appreciated the writing style, but I found myself skimming in a few spots. Overall, I liked it but it's not my favorite classic from Penguin.

Not as thrilling as I'd hoped
I bought this Penguin Classics edition of 'The Thirty-Nine Steps' expecting a lot of suspense, but it fell short for me. The story was okay, but I didn’t connect with the characters much. The book itself is well-made though, with a nice cover. Just not my cup of tea!
