Thurbers rapier wit meets its match in Yoons intelligent, powerful imagery in this classic tale about the absurdity of omnipotence.Gorgeously illustrated and including two gatefolds that give us a panoramic jungle at war, The Tiger Who Would Be King is as entertaining as it is wise, as wry as it is passionate. Yoons humorous images support this beautifully written text with wit and insight. Her final portrait of the tiger in a sea of silence will stay with the reader for a long, long time.

When I received 'The Tiger Who Would Be King', the book had some scuffs on the cover. The story itself is lovely, but the condition made it feel second-rate. I expected better packaging or quality control.

An Inspiring Tale for Kids
I bought 'The Tiger Who Would Be King' for my son’s birthday, and he loved it! The story is not just entertaining but also teaches valuable lessons about leadership. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, making it a joy to read together.

Great Story, But Not What I Expected
The story is good, but I thought it would be a bit longer. My daughter enjoyed the illustrations, but she wanted more character development. It’s a nice read for younger kids, just not as in-depth as I hoped for older ones.
