Kaitlynn Edwards is the belle of Vallantyne in the year 2006. When Brian Weatherly, heir to a billion dollar land company, gives Kaitlynn an antique broach, given to him by his own grandpa, one stick of the pin from the broach sends Kaitlynn back to the year of 1900. There she meets the very charming Quintin Weatherly, the man who pioneered the Weatherly land company. She soon realizes that he is the one person she wants to spend her life with. Quintin's housemaid wants nothing more than to be rid of Kaitlynn so she can take over the role as his wife. When Kaitlynn is forced to leave an era she has grown to love, she has to rely on a book of poems she left behind for herself in the year of 1900. There is only one key to getting back to the life she longs for; her great great grandson, Brian Weatherly.
