His precise accounts of flowers, birds, and the spectacular geologic exposures of coastal Australia are enhanced by a wealth of beautiful photographs and expert navigational maps. The exploration of the exotically wild shores of Australia and the colorful Aboriginal history continue into our sojourn to Singapore where we luxuriate at the Cobbs' favorite hotel, Raffles (home of the Singapore Sling). Soon we'll travel on to Europe and enjoy the Old World charm of the Netherlands, where we are led through the beauty of the architecture and marvel at the many canals and bridges connecting this watery world. All too soon we reach journey's end in England for one last round of history, touring, and storytelling as we complete our adventure at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
