I was captivated by the story and the mystery behind it all. However, the ending felt rushed and left me wanting more. Still, Fandorin is a character I won't forget!

The Turkish Gambit has a lot of detail, which can sometimes slow the pace down. But I appreciated the rich historical context and Fandorin's cleverness. If you have patience for a slower build, it's a fun ride!

I found "The Turkish Gambit" to be a bit hard to follow, especially with all the historical references. I like mysteries, but this one had too many twists for my taste. It might be great for die-hard fans, though!
