I was really excited to get this book, but it arrived with a few pages bent and the binding feels cheap. The concept is fun, but the quality didn't meet my expectations for a holiday book. I would have liked it to be more durable, especially since I wanted to read it with family.

A Fun Local Twist on a Classic
I enjoyed the idea behind this book, bringing the twelve days of Christmas to a North Carolina setting. It's a cute read, but I wish it had a bit more depth in the stories. The kids liked it, but I think it could have been a little more engaging. Still, a nice addition to our holiday books!
