Over the past 40 years the Bahraini authorities have excavated at very large number of burials from the socalled Tylos Period (c. BC 300 to AD 600). In 2007, the glass and pottery from these burials were published and a chronological framework for the burials was thus established. In this volume 29 cemeteries from two areas in Bahrain are presented and analyzed in a geographical, chronological and social perspective. The book is well illustrated with 380 drawings and photos, most of them in color.
