This novel blew me away! The author really captures the essence of modern Russia in such a unique way. The dark humor intertwined with the narrative kept me laughing while also reflecting on serious issues. I can see this becoming a classic.

Thought-provoking but hard to get through
I wanted to love The Undead but found myself putting it down often. The ideas are brilliant, yet the writing felt dense and sometimes convoluted. It definitely has its moments but be prepared for a challenging read.

Unique take on a familiar theme
I loved the blend of horror and social commentary in this novel. The way it connected the undead to modern issues in Russia was quite clever and made me think. Some parts felt repetitive, but overall, it was an engaging story.

Interesting but a bit slow at times
The Undead explores some fascinating themes about society today, but there were parts that dragged on a bit. I appreciated the author's vision, just wish it moved a little faster. Still worth a read, especially if you like deep dives into culture.
