The guide itself is lovely, but it arrived with some damage to the cover. The book is a great piece of history, but I wish it had been packed better during shipping. Still a worthwhile addition to my collection.

Charming Vintage Read
What a delightful find! The descriptions and the old-fashioned charm of this guidebook really transport you back in time. I loved reading about the adventures of climbers back in the day. Perfect for anyone interested in the region's history.

Interesting but Lacks Modern Relevance
I found the book quite interesting with its vintage perspective on Zermatt and the Matterhorn. However, as someone who prefers current travel tips, I felt a bit lost. It’s more of a collector's item than a practical guide.

Great for Nostalgia Lovers
I bought this guide as a gift for my father, who loves mountaineering history. He enjoyed the stories but mentioned that some parts felt a bit outdated. Still, the photos and illustrations are charming!

Disappointed with Condition
I had high hopes for this book, but it showed up with a few torn pages and a worn-out cover. It’s a neat concept, but I expected better condition for a collectible guide. I might not recommend it unless you are willing to deal with similar issues.
