I was excited to read The Vietnam Reader, but when it arrived, the cover was bent and a few pages were crumpled. The content seems promising, but the initial impression really affected my enthusiasm. Hoping for a better condition next time!

Good Collection, But Some Repetitive Themes
The Vietnam Reader has a lot of interesting insights, but I found some stories to be quite repetitive. The nonfiction essays were more engaging than the fiction bits for me. Still, it's worth having if you're studying the war or just curious about it.
