While the illustrations in "The Vikings and Their Origins" are stunning, I was hoping for more of a narrative approach. It's more scholarly than I anticipated, so just be aware of that if you prefer storytelling. Still, a good read!

I found this book a bit lacking when it came to details about the origins of Vikings. Some sections felt rushed and under-explained. I expected more depth based on the title. Not the best buy for me!

Great for History Buffs, but a Bit Dense
This book is an interesting exploration of Viking origins, but I found some parts a bit hard to get through. A more straightforward narrative would have helped, but I still learned a lot. Worth the read if you're into Norse history!
