Product Description Set in the midtwentieth century, The Viper Touch describes the chaotic days preceding the independence of the African nation of Rhodesia from longstanding British rule. Though his personal life is in shambles, government worker Frank Tyson sets about fighting for the cause of all races and, with the help of the Viper Force, does all he can to support his beloved homeland. With fastpaced action and historical information gleaned from the author's own firsthand experience of that turbulent time, The Viper Touch is an intense political novel sure to entertain. About the Author A.G. Hetherington was born in Southern Rhodesia, Africa and schooled at Prince Edward Academic High School. Now retired from his work as the owner of a steel fabrication and engineering company, Mr. Hetherington grew up listening to the stories of older domestic and farm workers, allowing him an insider's knowledge of rural bush craft and the wisdom of their beliefs. Having lived in Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi, and in the Seychelles Islands, the author not only learned the ways of the people, but also learned to speak their languages. He currently lives in Europe.
