The New Century Version of the New Testament is the first phase of a major Bible translation project. It was begun in 1973 by the World Bible Translation Center and will be completed with the planned release of the Old Testament. This crystal clear new version can be used for personal devotional reading and group study, and yet it still has the dignity necessary for public reading. It is translated directly from the Greek, and is not a paraphrase.
