The book is a result of the author's painstakingly search for the role of theological education in the context of poverty and injustice since he learned how to read the Word of God in the context of the poor and oppressed in the Philippines and in Thailand, and taught in a seminary. The book represents the perceptions of theological educators from evangelical spectrum in the Philippines, and how it historically addressed the problem of poverty and injsutice in the Philippines, and how it should be biblically addressed through theolgocal education. The book was also the result of the author's doctoral dissertation at Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL., USA.
