Auf dem ersten scheint diese Frage leicht zu beantworten zu sein. Allerdings verbirgt diese Begrifflichkeit einen komplexen Handlungsbereich. Die Definition des Spiels stellt keine leicht zu lsende Aufgabe dar, was sich allein aus der Vielzahl der Ausarbeitungen vieler Geisteswissenschaftler ableiten lsst. In unserer Hausarbeit wollen wir uns mit den Theorien des Spiels beschftigen und ausgewhlte umfassend darstellen. Dabei werden wir das Spiel aus allgemeinpdagogischer Sicht beleuchten und nur am Rande auf praktische Aspekte des Spiels in der Schule eingehen. Zu Beginn der Ausarbeitung stellen wir die Theorieanstze Buytendijks, Huizingas, Ballys und Caillois' dar, wie sie in dem Werk "Das Spiel Theorien des Spiels" von Hans Scheuerl (1991) dargestellt sind. Darauf folgend entwerfen wir eine eigene Definition des Spiels mit den fr uns wichtigen und relevanten Aspekten. Dabei werden wir teilweise auf die Theorieanstze des ersten Abschnitts eingehen. Im vorletzten Punkt gehen wir auf das Spiel im Verhltnis zum Lernen ein. Wir errtern dabei die Unterschiede zwischen Spiel und Lernen sowie mgliche Schwierigkeiten und Chancen von Lernspielen. Dabei beziehen wir uns in der ersten Hlfe berwiegend auf Hans Scheuerl "Das Spiel Untersuchungen ber sein Wesen, seine pdagogischen Mglichkeiten und Grenzen" (1990) und im zweiten Abschnitt hauptschlich auf Jrgen Fritz' Werk "Theorie und Pdagogik des Spiels" (1991). In dem abschlieenden Fazit werden wir die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse aus dieser Ausarbeitung nochmals zusammentragen.
