Urn der Gerechtigkeit willen verdient jetzt, nachdem im Felde der Kosmologie die weitgehende Gleichwertigkeit des alteren mir dem jiingeren Lehr gebaude erkannt ist, die 'klassische' oder 'dynamische' Kosmologie eine breite Darstellung. Zwar sind namlich die beiden grundlegenden Arbeiten von MILNE und MCCREA von diesen Autoren spater gelegent lich erwahnt worden. Doch haben sie weder in Deutschland, wo die Polemik gegen die Relativitatstheorie eigentlich eine gtinstige Atmosphare hlitte schaffen mUssen, noch auch in anderen Landern Resonanz in weiteren Arbeiten gefunden. Mit der MILNEschen Erkenntnis ist ein betrachtlicher methodischer Gewinn verbunden.
