Eine Steigerung der Lebensdauer lsst die Kosten sinken und macht den Einsatz der Diodenlaser noch attraktiver. Thermische und mechanische Spannungen begrenzen die Lebensdauer der Diodenlaser. Die Hauptbeanspruchung entsteht durch die unterschiedliche thermische Ausdehnung whrend der Montage des Halbleiter mit dem Wrmesenkenmaterials. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht den thermischen und mechanischen Einfluss des Montageprozesses auf Diodenlaserbarren. Die Benutzung ausdehnungsangepasster Wrmesenken ist eine Methode zur Senkung der mechanischen Spannungen. Eine andere Methode zur Reduzierung der beim Montieren aufgebauten Spannungen ist die Optimierung der Lotschicht. Durch plastische Verformung des weichen und duktilen Indiumlotes werden die Spannungen reduziert. Die Mglichkeiten der Spannungsminderung durch nderung der Lotzusammensetzung sind im Detail untersucht worden.
