The aim of the present study is to analyze steady, twodimensional laminar free convective boundary layer flows over circular cylinder or sphere or vertical plate immersed in an incompressible viscous or micropolar fluid embedded in a Darcy or nonDarcy porous medium, in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field by taking into account the thermodiffusion and diffusionthermo effects. The analysis includes: (1) formation of the mathematical models to obtain the governing boundary layer flow and heat and mass transfer equations for the new models; (2) non similar boundary layer transformation; and (3) numerical computation using a finitedifference scheme.
