On a spring day in Venice, Commissario Brunetti and his assistant Vianello play hooky to help Vianellos friend Marco Ripetti, arrested during an environmental protest. I really enjoyed 'Through a Glass, Darkly'. The audio narration was captivating! Commissario Guido Brunetti is such a well-crafted character and the plot kept me guessing. Perfect for listening during my morning walks!

Honestly, I found this audio book a bit boring. The pacing felt slow, and the plot didn’t draw me in the way I hoped. I expected more excitement from Brunetti's adventures. Maybe it's just not my style. Disappointed!

Great Mystery, But Slow Start
The story had a solid payoff, but it took a while to get going. I liked the character of Brunetti and how the mystery unfolded, but I wish it had hooked me a bit faster. Still a decent listen overall!
