Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Germanistik Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Universitt Augsburg, Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar, 19 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen des Hauptseminars: Robert Musil Kleine Prosa und Essayistik habe ich mich eingehend mit den Tiergeschichten Robert Musils, besonders mit der Erzhlung Die Maus" beschftigt. Im Folgenden mchte ich die Entwicklung, die der Protagonist des Textes durchlebt, ausfhrlich darstellen. Er bewegt sich von einem Zustand des Auersichseins zum vlligen Bewusstsein zurck. Innerhalb dieser Phase erlebt er die Mystik des anderen Zustandes" und erkennt so in einer ganz unscheinbaren grauen Maus den Sinn des Lebens. Anschlieend an diese Betrachtungen folgt eine Beschftigung mit der Tiererzhlung Josefine, die Sngerin oder das Volk der Muse" von Franz Kafka. Dieser hat sich in seiner Knstlergeschichte ebenfalls fr die Maus als Tier entschieden, anhand der er die Situation und das Wesen eines Knstlerlebens nachzeichnet und die Beziehung von Volk und Knstler bzw. Kunst und umgekehrt erlutert. In diesem Zusammenhang gehe ich nher auf die beiden Autoren und die Entstehungsgeschichte der Erzhlungen ein. Bevor ich diese Tiergeschichten von der klassischen Fabel abgrenzen mchte.
