This book has a lot of great facts about gardens and abbeys, but I found some sections a little boring. The pictures are nice, though, and it gives you a solid overview if you're planning a trip to Germany. Just wish it was a bit more engaging!

While the illustrations of Roman remains are stunning, I expected more in-depth historical context. Some parts felt rushed, and there weren't enough details on certain locations. It’s a good start, but I needed more substance.

A delightful journey into history
I just finished reading 'Travel in Time to Germany's Finest' and it was such a joy! The detail about the stately homes and castles is incredible, really brings the history alive. I can't wait to visit some of these places next summer!

Not what I expected
I was hoping for more practical travel tips in this book. Instead, it reads more like a history lecture. A couple of pages were damaged upon arrival too, which was disappointing. I think I’ll keep looking for a better travel guide.
