The folk melodies span a wide range, from American to Irish and Welsh to a German folk song famously set by Brahms. The lyrics represent some of the bestknown hymn texts and are appropriate for performance in concerts and for general and seasonal worship. The lovely piano accompaniments delightfully complement the voice, and the included accompaniment CD provides a handy rehearsal or performance aid.
