Erst in unserer Zeit scheint es modern geworden zu sein, dem einst als so verwegen beschriebenen Abenteurer die Aura unwiderstehlicher Mnnlichkeit zu nehmen und seine hochgerhmte 'geniale' Verfhrungskraft anzuzweifeln. Die folgende Arbeit beschftigt sich mit den zwei Werken von Tirso de Molina und Molire. Um Unterschiede zu verdeutlichen, wird zu Beginn der Arbeit verglichen, wie die Hauptfigur Don Juan eingefhrt wird und wie sie untergeht. Im zweiten Kapitel geht es um die Frage, welche Rolle der Diener Don Juans jeweils einnimmt bzw. was der Leser durch diese Dienerfigur ber die Hauptfigur erfhrt. Da es ohne Frauen keinen DonJuanStoff gbe, wird in einem weiteren Kapitel die Einstellung Don Juans zu den Frauen betrachtet. Hierbei wird deutlich, dass die Ehre' eine sehr wichtige Rolle in beiden Stcken einnimmt. Der vorletzte Abschnitt versucht deshalb, das Thema Ehre zu beleuchten. ber die Ehre lsst sich schwerlich etwas Haltbares sagen, ohne den Rahmen einer solchen Studienarbeit zu berschreiten. Zunchst wird daher eine Standortbestimmung ber den Ehrbegriff in unserer heutigen Zeit gegeben. Davon ausgehend wird die Auffassung von Ehre in den beiden Werken verglichen. Im letzten Teil gibt die Arbeit eine abschlieende Zusammenfassumg der Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen den zwei Werken von Tirso de Molina und Molire im Wandel der Zeit ihrer Verffentlichungen.
