This inductive Bible study focuses on the message for the early Christian church on the island of Crete, off the coast of Greece. The study carefully examines the apostle Pauls concerns for believers who would be led by the disciple Titus. This indepth nine week study also takes a close look (one day each week, and then in all of lesson nine) at the biblical call to discipleship. The book of Titus contains teaching concerning salvation as well as practical guidelines for living in relationship with Christ. The study examines the instructions given for specific adults within the church, to see how godly behavior was described. Many practical application questions are considered so that class members are challenged to grow stronger in their faith and in their walk with the Lord. The study provides a number of options for completing the lessons. The student could complete the observation questions followed by application questions, or complete the remainder of the lesson for an indepth study. Students could also study only some of the portions of the indepth lesson beyond the observation questions. The study also offers a reflection in Scripture every day to provide a time of daily worship that addresses the role of Christians in the church as a disciple of Christ.
