These two remarkable personalities were destined to meet and give a new beginning to the Armenian nationChristianity. This is a compelling story of struggle for independence and survival in IV century AD when two major powers: Roman Empire and Parthian Empire had fought feverishly to establish their influence in Armenia. And Armenia chose to become the First Christian nation by adopting Christianity as a state religion in 301 A.D. This story was written for children and adults. All characters of this story are nonfictional. The author took the liberty to improvise. About the author: Adriana Layne has resided and traveled throughout Europe. She greatly appreciates the international history and folklore, art and architecture. To be the First One is her first children's story book. Currently the author resides in California with her family and husband.
