This book will concentrate mainly on toy sewing machines. A little company history is sprinkled in, but this book is not intended to give you a history of the invention of the sewing machine many good books have already been written on that subject. However, this knowledge is very helpful, as many toy sewing machines are counterparts of their adult models. This awareness gives you a firm foundation for identifying and dating the toy.

Could be better organized
While the content of the guide is solid, I found it a bit disorganized. It can be hard to find specific information quickly. Still, it’s a nice addition to my sewing reference library, just not as user-friendly as I’d hoped.
