This edition is an updated and expanded version of its first edition published in 2002, which has been the required textbook of many veterinary acupuncture training programs in USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. I bought this 2nd edition hardcover as a gift for my friend who's really into traditional Chinese medicine. The explanations of fundamental principles are clear and well-organized. It's been a great help for her studies!

Informative but a bit dense
This book has a wealth of information about veterinary practices in TCM, but I found some sections a bit hard to digest. The hardcover is beautiful, though, and it does serve as a good foundational resource. Just be prepared to take notes!

Arrived damaged and missing pages
I was really looking forward to diving into this hardcover on traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, but it came with some pages stuck together and the cover was dented. Not impressed with the quality control. Hoping for a replacement soon!
