El objetivo de este libro es observar y analizar el tratamiento que reciben las referencias culturales que aparecen, en concreto, en la literatura infantil y juvenil como consecuencia de la dificultad que implica traducir para nios y jvenes, entre otras razones, por sus escasos conocimientos de otras culturas. Para ello se observa todo lo dicho sobre la traduccin de las referencias culturales en los estudios de traduccin y se analiza el tratamiento que reciben en textos infantiles traducidos y publicados de la autora austriaca Christine Nstlinger. About the Author La autora: Gisela Marcelo Wirnitzer es licenciada en Traduccin e Interpretacin, doctora en Traduccin y profesora de la ULPGC desde 1998.
