Das Problem des Unterschiedes zwischen Wirklichkeit (bzw. Wahrheit) und Traum in seiner Entwicklung von Descartes bis Kant wurde zum Thema in der Lehre von der transzendentalen Wahrheit, dem Kernstuck der Wolffschen Ontologie und Kosmologie. Die Arbeit stellt die Wahrheits und Traumlehre Wolffs aus einem dreifachen Gesichtspunkt dar: zunachst aus der Konfrontation mit der Scholastik, aber auch mit dem Cartesianismus; sodann im Hinblick auf die Ausarbeitung einer neuen Bedeutung des Terminus transzendental; und schliesslich in bezug auf die Lehre vom somnium objective sumptum, dem Traum in metaphysischem Sinne. Ausserdem wird die Wirkungsgeschichte des Wolffschen Lehrstuckes untersucht, und zwar sowohl im Hinblick auf die WolffSchule als auch auf die kritischen Auseinandersetzungen mit Wolff (Crusius, Lambert, Kant). The problem of the difference between reality (or truth) and a dream and its development from Descartes to Kant became an issue in the doctrine of transcendental truth, the central part of Wolffs ontology and cosmology. This work presents Wolff's theory of truth and dreams from three points of view. It begins with the confrontation with scholasticism and with Cartesianism as well, then with regard to the development of a new meaning of the term transcendental; and in conclusion refers to the theory of thesomnium objective sumptum, the dream in a metaphysical sense. In addition, the impact of Wolff's didactic work is studied with regard to the Wolff school as well as the critical examinations of Wolff (Crusius, Lambert, Kant).
