Durst arbeitet seit ber 40 Jahren therapeutisch. Die Autorin mchte anhand dieser Arbeit die Kernelemente der Traumatherapie nach Durst herausarbeiten: 1. Auf welche psychotherapeutischen Konzepte sttzt Nathan Durst seine Arbeit? 2. Wie gestaltet er den Prozess in der Traumabehandlung? 3. Wo liegen die Schwerpunkte seiner Arbeit? 4. Welche Schlussfolgerungen knnen daraus fr die Mitarbeiter der Sozialen Arbeit gewonnen werden? "Im Verlaufe der Interviews mit Nathan Durst erkannte ich eine Vorgehensweise, die wesentlich auf seine individuelle Einstellung zu den berlebenden in der Therapie zurckzufhren ist. Neben der praktischen Durchfhrungsmethode der Traumatherapie mit Holocaustberlebenden, steht die charakteristische Ideologie Nathan Dursts als Perspektive fr die sozialen Berufe gleichermaen im Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit."
