I was excited when I ordered the Abridged Classics of Treasure Island, but it arrived with a few bent pages. My son was eager to start reading it, but the damaged condition was a letdown. The story seems great, though, so I’m hoping to get a replacement soon.

Nice for kids, but a bit simplified
I bought this Abridged Classics version for my daughter. While she liked the story of Treasure Island, I found some parts a bit too simplified. It’s great for younger readers, but some of the charm of the original is missing. Still, a decent choice for kids!

Excellent edition for young adventurers!
The Pegasus Abridged Classics of Treasure Island is fantastic! My 10-year-old loves pirates and this book kept him engaged. The illustrations are delightful and the story flows well. It’s a perfect way to introduce him to classic literature.
