Disappointing Condition on Arrival
I ordered the 3rd edition of 'Trials of Modernity', but when it arrived, the cover was damaged and the pages were bent. The content seems promising, but I'm disappointed with how it showed up. I plan to exchange it but wish it had been packaged better.

Solid Historical Overview, but Some Charts Are Small
Great overview of European history and its global context. I appreciate the insights and the way this edition is structured. However, some of the charts and graphs are a bit too small to read comfortably. Still, it’s a worthwhile read for anyone interested in modern history!
