Les diffrentes approches molculaires (ARDRA, ITSPCR, PFGE) utilises dans cette tude ont permis de contrler lvolution des communauts de staphylocoques coagulasengatives au cours dun cycle de compostage et elles ont montr que la composition et la diversification des communauts de staphylocoques sont significativement lies la composition des dchets mnagers composter et aux paramtres de compostage comme la temprature, ltape et ou le temps du cycle de compostage. Dautre part, dans cette tude, on a montr que la biomasse microbienne du sol pourrait tre employe comme indicateur de changements environnementaux aprs lapplication de rsidus organiques (compost ou fumier) ou engrais minraux (N et P) dans un sol nu ou cultiv avec du bl et pendant trois annes conscutives. La quantification de lADN extrait du sol se propose comme une autre mthode prcise alternative la fumigationextraction pour la mesure de la biomasse microbienne dans les sols amends. Cet ouvrage s'adresse aux chercheurs et enseignants de la microbiologie de l'environnement.
