Devoted exclusively to typography, this annual features the work of the 168 winners of the Type Director's Club 1997 competition. The winners were selected from more than 3000 entries from around the world, and their designs encompass all areas of graphic design, including books, magazines, corportate identities, logos, stationary, annual reports, video graphics and posters. Additionally, this year's volume features the results of the club's firstever type design competition, conducted by a separate 33 winners out of 350 international entries. In both catagories, each winning entry is displayed and is accompanied by information about designer, client and type.
