Auf den ersten Blick mag einem der Begriff Textsorte auch tatschlich recht verstndlich und konkret erscheinen und man fragt sich wieso berhaupt von einer Textsortenproblematik die Rede sein sollte. Selbstverstndlich besteht diese Problematik in erster Linie in der linguistischen Sprachforschung, jedoch betrifft sie in Wirklichkeit alle. Denn wir alle nehmen bestimmte Voraussetzungen als gegeben an, wenn wir kommunizieren, und bedienen uns so unbewusst vieler Erkenntnisse und eines gesellschaftlichkollektiven Wissens ber bestimmte Gegebenheiten. Die Linguistik setzt sich unter anderem deswegen mit der gegebenen Problematik bezglich Textsorten auseinander, um den Sprechern durch ihre gewonnen Erkenntnisse eine bessere Orientierung in der Welt der Kommunikation zu ermglichen und diese somit allgemein zu verbessern. In der folgenden Arbeit soll zunchst die Diskussion um die Definition des Begriffs Textsorte dargelegt werden. Hierzu werden verschiedene Definitionen vorgestellt. Im Weiteren soll die Typologisierungsproblematik genauer untersucht werden, die in der Textlinguistik so viel diskutiert wird. Hierzu wird ein berblick ber die bisherigen unterschiedlichen Herangehensweisen und die daraus resultierenden Modelle seit den 1960erJahren gegeben. Daraus soll in der Folge abgeleitet werden, in welchen Punkten die verschiedenen Modelle (zumindest relativ) bereinstimmen und in welchen bisher in der Wissenschaft kein Konsens gefunden werden konnte. Im folgenden Abschnitt stelle ich dann zwei Modelle aus der Fachtextlinguistik vor und welche Lsungsanstze fr die Textsortenklassifizier
