Sus inicios profesionales coincidirn con el comienzo de la guerra civil espaola, as que, cuando el pueblo se vea inmerso en el conflicto, Pablo y sus hermanos, al igual que tantas personas de ideas progresistas, ingresarn en prisin sin saber exactamente de qu se los acusa.Sento Llobell, dibujante perteneciente a la Nueva Escuela Valenciana de los ochenta, regresa al mundo delcmic con esta obra despus de casi veinte aos dedicado a otras reas de las artes plsticas. Gracias a los escritos que dej Pablo y a las fotografas, cartas y documentos que la familia Uriel ha guardado durante este tiempo, Sento ha podido reconstruir parte de su historia y plasmarla en una obra nica que mereci el Premio Internacional FnacSins entido en 2013.
