La Justicia Restaurativa como su nombre lo indica, se refiere a los diferentes mtodos o mecanismos alternativos de justicia implementados en este caso por la comunidad para restaurar las relaciones de grupo, en situaciones de conflicto o violencia comunitaria. En el caso del Distrito de Aguablanca en Santiago de Cali, Colombia, el programa Francisco Esperanza de la Fundacin Paz y Bien, surge como una alternativa de respuesta o solucin al problema de la delincuencia juvenil que en los ltimos tiempos se ha agudizado y ha tendido a aumentar la crisis social vivenciada en este sector. La aplicacin de este programa de reparacin social ha implicado el desarrollo de un trabajo integral que requiere involucrar a la familia, la comunidad y al joven o los jvenes infractores, con el objeto de intentar subsanar en algo el dao causado a todas las partes mediante el uso de mtodos alternativos de mediacin y conciliacin como los implementados en la Justicia restaurativa.
