Es va donar a conixer amb un llibre de relats, Parfait amour (Quaderns Crema, 1986). s autor tamb de les novelles El rei de la casa (1988), La vida perdurable (1992), El rei de la selva (1997) i Una cara manllevada (2000), totes quatre publicades a Quaderns Crema. Desprs de la seva mort, se li va retre homenatge amb la publicaci de llbum Galms (Quaderns Crema, 2002), a cura de Javier Cercas i Pon Puigdevall.
