Reconozco que ste es un libro atpico; aunque la arquitectura es el eje de la narracin, su desarrollo abarca la historia, la antropologa, la crtica, la poltica, el lenguaje, la matemtica, la geometra en su contenido terico hasta concluir en una metodologa proyectual de la que se dan algunos ejemplos, parte de los cuales se estn construyendo en la actualidad. En realidad fue pensado como una bsqueda de las bases sobre las que puede asentarse una teora, haciendo hincapi en el mundo actual y sus protagonistas, tratando de abrir el campo para luego realizar una interpretacin y darle una forma arquitectnica concreta. Igual que en las ciencias fsicas, en arquitectura toda teora debe demostrarse, porque de lo contrario carece de verosimilitud. Ese es, precisamente nuestro intento.
