Under the Stars is the amazing autobiography of Edward Thomas Whitingham Tepper, Oregons wizard of the woods. An eighthgrade dropout at 13, Tom and his father came homesteading in Oregon in the early 1900s. He became a buckaroo, rodeo rider, and horse trainer; pioneer aviator and flight instructor in the infant Army Air Corps; crop duster, commercial fisherman, designer and creator of silver jewelry and bridle bits; wood carver and the man behind Tepper Music Wood. His story captures the dramatic changes that the American West went through in the 20th century, from the perspective an American original.
