No one is Leonards equal, declares the Chicago Tribuneand anyone who might doubt it would only have to read Elmore Leonards riveting noir classic, Unknown Man #89, to become a true believer. The twisty tale of a Detroit process server whose search for a missing stockholder leads him into more serious peril than he ever imagined possible, Unknown Man #89 is a gourmet stew of mystery, suspense, and double and triple cross, peppered with the razor sharp dialogue for which Grand Master Leonard is justifiably famous.Exhilarating oldschool crime fiction that the late, great John D. MacDonald, Dashiell Hammett, James M. Cain, and Robert Parker would have been proud to call their own, Unknown Man #89 is a gemnothing less than wed expect from the man who created the incomparable U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens of the hit TV series Justified.

'A Novel' by Unknown Man has an engaging premise and some great characters, but I felt like the plot got a little tangled at times. There were parts that really shone, but then it would lose its way. If they could tighten up the narrative, it would be fantastic!

Disappointing Ending
I enjoyed most of 'A Novel' by Unknown Man, but the ending really let me down. It felt rushed and unsatisfying compared to how the rest of the book built up. I wanted more resolution for the characters. It’s a shame because the writing was initially promising.

An Intriguing Read with Depth
I picked up 'A Novel' by Unknown Man and was captivated right from the start. The storytelling is rich and the character development is on point, making it a solid choice for anyone who loves a deep, thoughtful read. I finished it in a couple of evenings — couldn’t put it down!

Not Quite What I Expected
This book, 'A Novel', had some interesting moments but overall didn’t meet my expectations. The pacing was a bit slow, and I found myself losing interest halfway through. There were some good themes, but they got a little lost in the details. It’s okay, but just not for me.
