The book aims to uncover how understandings of criminal ethnic minority girls can be formulated. The intention is to make ethnic minority girls visible in criminology and unlock their voice, so they can tell their criminal accounts. The book concludes that the criminal lives of ethnic minority girls is explained through a complex prism of factors based on gender, class, race, ethnicity, culture, experience of Local Authority Care and abuse. The biographical approach indicates how these factors interplay and become significant at different stages of girls life courses. Thus, such factors are key to understanding their criminal lives. The book provides an invaluable insight into the criminal lives of a forgotten group of young criminal females in a male dominant system.
