Amsterdambased architects Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos, principals of UNStudio, are stars of the international architecture scene. The outcome of their selfdefined goals are apparent in dynamic buildings like Five Franklin Place, a residential building completed in 2007 in New York's TriBeCa neighborhood, which expresses a nuanced conceptual and technical complexity and confidence while also providing a mustsee architectural experience.
