Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik Gattungen, Note: 1,7, Universitt Erfurt, Veranstaltung: Die Toten und die Texte, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit soll aufbauend auf Textauszge des franzsischen Philosophen Georges Bataille einige berlegungen und Anregungen in Bezug auf Bertolt Brechts Erstlingswerk Baal" unternehmen. Dabei geht es aber nicht allein um die Frage nach jener selbstkritischen Perspektive des Autors, sondern viel eher um die Analyse und Charaktersierung der Dichterfigur im Stck, um Baal, der stets an der Grenze zum berma aller Umstnde und damit in dauerhaftem Verbrauch lebt. Nach einer kurzen Vorstellung der in diesem Kontext relevanten Kerngedanken Batailles seien einige wichtige Stellen des Theaterstckes analysiert, sowie Baals Gedicht Der Tod im Wald aus der Szene Ahorn im Wind" nher untersucht. Gerade hier wird die Allgegenwrtigkeit des Todes vollkommen auf die Spitze getrieben. Dabei wird es unabdingbar sein, einen religisen Aspekt genauer zu betrachten, da dieses Gedicht nicht nur den (verheiligten) Prozess des Sterbens besonders gut aufzeigt, sondern als eine wesentliche Stelle des gesamten Werkes angenommen werden kann.
