Las proposiciones upanisdicas tienen como finalidad llevar al investigador a la experiencia nodual, es decir, a la unidad de conciencia. Por la explicacin del filsofo Sankara a estos textos, las verdades reveladas y reveladoras de las Upanisad han sido includas en el entramado lgico de un sistema metafsico: la advaita.
