This book presents the assessment of energy consumption and carbon emissions related to urban form by looking residential density in a developing city. A household survey was undertaken at high, medium, and low residential density areas. The proposed measures towards energy efficient and low carbon city are described. The results will give better perspectives and understanding to urban planners and decision makers dealing with energy use and carbon emissions in a developing city.
